Privacy Statement

This document was last modified Wednesday March 10, 2010.

Aboriginal Connections has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website: www.aboriginalconnections.com.

Information Collection and Use
Aboriginal Connections is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Aboriginal Connections collects information from our users at several different points on our website.

Registration
In order to use or access parts of this web site, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give their contact information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact the user about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest.

Order
We request information from the user on our order form. Here a user must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer’s orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user.

Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the user would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still use our site. The only drawback to this is that the user will be limited in some areas of our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Some of our business partners use cookies on our site (for example, advertisers). However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.

Links
This web site contains links to external sites. Please be aware that we, Aboriginal Connections, are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this Web site.

Log Files
Aboriginal Connections uses Analog 5.32 and Report Magic 2.21 to analyze traffic to this web site. Analog 5.32 does not create individual profiles for visitors. Unlike some tracking services Analog 5.32 does not have a database of individual profiles for each visitor. Analog 5.32 only collects aggregate data and this information is not available publicly.

Surveys
Our online surveys ask visitors for contact information (like their email address). We use contact data from our surveys to send the user information about our company. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below.

Advertisements
We use an outside ad company to display ads on our site. These ads may contain cookies. While we use cookies in other parts of our Web site, cookies received with banner ads are collected by our ad company, and we do not have access to this information.

Public Forums
